About Us

We are a non-profit martial arts community. We have dojos in Seattle, San Francisco and Portland!

Our goal is to give our students and community a place to grow and thrive. We seek to create a warm, welcoming, and diverse environment for martial artists of all levels. We believe that martial arts can ground us, give us strength and confidence, and help us tap into our own innate power.

We practice a blended martial arts style developed by our founder Master Rachael Evans, who still leads our community from the San Francisco dojo. Our style is grounded in mindfulness of the body and taps into aspects of traditional martial arts styles like Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chun, Judo, and Arnis.

Sister Schools

Quantum students are welcomed and encouraged to visit and train at each of our our sister locations. We try to offer opportunities for our students to travel and test at our different dojos whenever possible.

San Francisco

The San Francisco dojo is home of our Founder and Head Instructor Master Rachael Evans. With over 35 years of martial arts experience, a sixth-degree black belt, Master Evans teaches a unique style of her own creation that blends Tae Kwon Do, Wing Chun, Judo, and Arnis, among other styles, in a challenging and positive learning environment.

Located in the heart of the Mission District, this location features two training floors. We offer martial arts classes for adults and martial arts classes for kids, as well as community events such as rolling & falling for cyclists workshops and self-defense classes.

Seattle

Our Seattle dojo has served thousands of students since opening on Capitol Hill in 1995, and currently offers martial arts classes for kids and adults in the Central District. Many of their instructors have been training with Quantum for over 20 years.

The Seattle school has several long-standing community outreach programs. These programs allow Quantum Seattle to reach more than 200 kids per year changing the lives of children and families throughout Seattle.
